NATURE'S OVERLOOK is the Friends nature store at the Wildlife Center. The store features a selection of unique educational, interpretive, and gift items related to Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge and the surrounding area. Available are products made by local artisans, logo wear, books, children's items, and many other things that can contribute to the enjoyment of nature.

Store hours are 10:00-4:00 Tuesday through Friday, 10:00-5:00 Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day until Labor Day (open until 4:00 on Saturday and Sunday during the rest of the year). The Wildlife Center and store are closed on Mondays.

Friends of the Refuge Volunteers staff the store and visitor information desk in the Wildlife Refuge. We are always looking for interested volunteers to assist in these activities. What's flying off the Shelves at Nature's Overlook?

We have an exciting new vendor at our store in the Wildlife Center. Gene Mulkey of Newberg carves and paints beautiful and realistic bird sculptures. We have just begun carrying some of his artistic masterpieces. We’re also hoping that Gene will come to demonstrate his talent during this year’s Tualatin River Bird Festival.
