Second Saturday Work Party - CORRECTED

Join us for our next Second Saturday Work Party!

Saturday, August 9th from 9am - 12pm

Invasive Plant Removal near Roy Rogers Road Wayside

This work party will focus on the removal of invasive plant species.  The area of focus will be the boundary fence-line near Roy Rogers Road and the target will be blackberry bushes.   

We will not be able to pick blackberries prior to removal...sorry!

Weed eaters will be used; safety equipment and instructions will be supplied.

Some potential hazards include power tools, traffic and thorns.

Please meet in front of the refuge visitor center at 8:45am for shuttle service.  Or park at the Roy Rogers Wayside.

Bring gloves, work clothes and a water bottle. Water and tools to be provided.

Please meet in front of the refuge visitor center at 8:45am for shuttle service. Please arrive on time; shuttles will be available to the refuge wayside parking lot.
