Friends Annual Membership Breakfast, Meeting, and Paddle--(Members Only Event)

As we end our time in the spotlight as the National Wildlife Refuge Association's 2014 Friends Group of the Year, we will convene the annual membership meeting by raising one more orange juice toast! Join us in celebrating our accomplishments and a look forward to what's in store for the future.

This year’s meeting will begin with a Continental Breakfast at 8:30, followed by a business meeting which will include election of Board members, recognition of Volunteers of the Year, and voting on the revisions to our bylaws. You can review the proposed revisions on our web page.

This year’s meeting will be followed by an opportunity for interested members to participate in a paddle on the Tualatin River. Tualatin RiverKeepers will provide canoes, paddles, and flotation vests as well as guides for a limited number of participants. If you are interested, please call the Friends office at 503-625-5944 x227 and reserve your space. This will be a first come, first served event.

The paddle will take place rain or shine. We will carpool to the put-in near the RiverKeepers’ Office just off Pacific Hwy near the bridge over the Tualatin River. If you have your own canoe or kayak you are welcome to join us using your own craft. Further details will be available on the web site.
