Second Saturday Work Party

Our last Second Saturday work party of 2014 is November 8th - we will be removing invasive trees and shrubs from the NE Atfalati unit.

This unit was the original land donation that helped establish the refuge - so you'll be working on a piece of history!

Wear work clothes, boots, and work gloves.  Bring a water bottle and we'll supply the water and tools.

We could encounter poison oak.

Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during sign-in.

Shuttles are the only means of transportation to this unit so be at the Wildlife Center at 9am sharp! We'll work until noon and return to the Wildlife Center.

We are taking December off from work parties, but will be back in January 2015 for tree planting!  Watch this space for more details.
