Have some free time to volunteer during the week?  Join us for the weekly Wednesday planting event to restore the South Riverboat Unit!

Friends of Tualatin River NWR and US Fish and Wildlife Service, along with their partners, are hosting a series of planting events to completely restore 10 acres of the South Riverboat Unit of Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.

Please dress in layers for the weather and bring a water bottle. Work gloves, rain/work boots are essential.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers are required to fill out paperwork (available here) that can be printed and completed in advance.

Planting events are open to all skill and age levels. We will have crew leaders to instruct volunteers during the event.

Directions:
The project site is located at 20575 SW Scholls-Sherwood Road, Sherwood OR 97140. From Roy Rogers Road, head west on Scholls-Sherwood Road (stay right at the four-way stop) for two miles. The entry is on the right just past SW Stark Road and will be clearly marked. Please carpool whenever possible.
