For January we will be hosting a special third Saturday restoration work party. On January 13th we will be collecting willow cuttings from mature plants and on January 20th we will be planting them around wetlands on the refuge.
We will meet at 8:45am at refuge HQ and work until all of our willow stakes are planted (likely somewhere between 11am and 12pm).
Dress for the weather and wear rainboots or other sturdy, water resistant shoes if you have them. Help us restore habitat for native wildlife!
Hope to see you there.
