Welcome to The Friends of the Refuge
The official volunteer organization supporting the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.

DONATE A DIGITAL CAMERA
The Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge have an immediate need for used point & shoot digital cameras to use in their Environmental Education programs this summer. Photography will be part of the curriculum and The Friends plan to loan these cameras to the camp participants. The cameras will then become a part of the Friends Environmental Educational resources and used by other youth groups visiting the Refuge to encourage them to look at nature through the lens of a camera. Click HERE for more information on how to donate!

PRE-K PUDDLE STOMPERS
Do you have a little one who enjoys being outdoors? Wondering what you can do to get outside during the rainy season? Bring your littlest naturalist(s) to the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge to spend part of the day stomping in puddles and learning to appreciate the wet weather that makes Oregon so green! Come join us: Wednesday March 3rd, 17th, and 31st from 10-11:30am on the Refuge for rainy day fun! Bring your raingear and be prepared to get wet and wild. Please register your group with Jenna Mendenhall (503)625-5944. This program is free to the public. Limited spaces available.
